I feel like a raisin this month. It's been the greyest month in Minnesota since they started keeping track of grey days (only in Minnesota) and it's winter -- and it's February (as my hair guru said: it's the Wednesday of winter months). Ha! So true. So instead of continuing on this wallowing negativity -- let's do something to cheer this February up with some self-care.
Sometimes, the simplest things can do wonders. Like hydration. Check out these 3 tips and keep in mind ... it's almost Friday, I mean, March:).
carry around an on-the-go water bottle. you can make your own make-shift with a glass bottle.
infuse water with fresh or frozen fruit, cucumers and mint, or some organic essential oils. tea bags are also a great way to "spice" up your water.
relax. take a bath with epsom salts and your choice of essential oil (I like lavendar and peppermint), proceed with a natural loofa to exfoliate and a salt or sugar scrub, then liberally apply almond oil or coconut oil to your body and allow it to soak into your skin.
